Our benches, chairs and pic nic tables are constructed of steel, not rotting wood or deteriorating plastics.
All of our ski's and snowboards are real and have been ridin on many times before being transformed into furniture, thus increasing the historical value of each of our quality products.
OUTLASTS ALL OTHER BENCHES:
Meaning, if a bench is made traditionally from wood or modern plastics, the sun and other natural elements (snow and rain) will deteriorate these types of materials.
Our products are Painted and or Powder Coated for extra protection from the elements.

Having been High Performance Ski and Snowboard technicians for many years at local resorts around California, we've been certified to know when something is not safe to ride on.
With the increasing amount of customers that have attempted to continue riding after many many years. We are required as certified binding technicians to teach these people the dangers of riding on "JANKEY/junky" equipment.
It is our responsibility as employees to make our slopes the safest in the country. It is our duty to inform customers of unsafe equipment and make them aware of the dangers that they could cause for other riders that are "up-to-date" with their equipment. It is our responsibility to keep everyone safe at all times when riding. AT ALL TIMES
When a customer finally realizes that they will not be allowed to use their equipment on our slopes, they usually always ask us if we want them. I then take them and put them into storage informing the customer that they have just contributed to www.skibenches.com and thank them for the donation.
Explanation in great detail still gets overlooked or "unheard" and the customer is thinking that all we are out to do is make money for the resort by renting them our equipment.
NOT TRUE
CASE IN POINT: I personally had an incident with a customer that insisted on using a ski that was not safe, yet willing to rent our boots, but not the ski's. The situation got so out of control, I was forced to get my boss. After numerous attempts to explain the severity of the situation, my boss gave the customer a free rental for the day to make sure our slopes were safe for sure.

RULE OF THUMB:
Ski and Snowboard Bindings genarally last in use a MAXIMUM of 7 years. The plastic materials that bindings are made of is under an enormous amount of tension at all times. If the equipment is stored in an attic or garage, the lifespan decreases by half or more.
